On a shared yacht party you buy a ticket per person and celebrate alongside other guests, usually with dinner, drinks and a DJ included. On a private yacht party you charter the whole boat for your own group, so nobody else is on board and you have more say over the evening.
Most of our New Year yachts leave from Dubai Marina, Dubai Marina Harbour or the Marina Canal. The New Year Burj Al Arab Fireworks Yacht is the exception: it boards from Baniyas Road in Deira. Your exact boarding point is confirmed with your booking.
It depends on the route. From the water off Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah, yachts are positioned for the midnight fireworks over Atlantis The Palm and Burj Al Arab, with the JBR and Ain Dubai skyline around you. Final positioning is always subject to coast guard instructions and sea conditions.
Most shared yacht parties include dinner and drinks. For example, the 100 Ft Shared Yacht Tour has a BBQ dinner and unlimited house beverages, and the Burj Al Arab Fireworks Yacht has an international buffet with soft drinks. On private charters it depends on the yacht. ATHENA, Titan and the Lotus Mega Yacht offer an optional food and drinks package at AED 525 per person.
Some trips are family-friendly and others are adults-only. The Burj Al Arab Fireworks Yacht welcomes all ages, and Love Boats takes guests from age 3. The 100 Ft Shared Yacht Tour and the Shared Luxurious Yacht Tour are 18+ only. On a private charter it's your own group, and children count towards the yacht's guest limit.
Shared yacht parties usually board between 8:30 PM and 9:45 PM and return after the midnight fireworks. Private charters such as ATHENA, Titan and the Lotus Mega Yacht run from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Check each yacht's page for its exact timings.
